※ Weather
September sees the muggy heat and heavy rain of the previous summer months begin to dwindle. As the month progresses, the heat begins to drop, and the rains lessen. Average temperatures is 16℃ to 23℃ (60℉ to 73℉), warm days and cool nights. A light coat comes in handy.

※ Currency
The official currency is the Korean Won (KRW). Most major places accept credit cards, but it’s useful to have some cash for small shops or local markets. ATMs are widely available, and currency exchange is offered at airports, banks, and hotels. Tip: 1 USD is approximately 1,400 KRW (rates may vary).
